About the Author

Alyssa Orrego is a Canadian author and photographer in Victoria, British Columbia who loves encouraging a vivid imagination in both children and adults. Alyssa has always loved writing and grew up writing novels and short stories. She studied English literature and creative writing at Brigham Young University – Hawaii while starting a family with her husband, Tim. She now has three sons whom she loves to invent stories for and who inspire her with their active imaginations and love of learning.

About the Illustrator

Elora Kiddle, an artist and designer out of Calgary, Alberta has been pursuing a creative life since as long as she can remember. Following much art exploration growing up, she studied Graphic Design at Alberta University of the Arts. Her paintings and illustrations have been in various exhibitions and won her many awards and scholarships. She believes in bringing emotion and imagination to her work. Her inspiration comes from her crazy family of 6 and her love for hiking and traveling.
