There are so many uses for these fun, first-day-of-school crafts! Here are a few suggestions:

• Frame it and use for a first-day-of-school photo
• As a preschool or Kindergarten teacher, you can print for your entire class/group and let them bring them home to their parents or keep at the school.
• Give to a grandparent
• Add to a memory book
• Make with your child for their teacher

How to use our dinosaur first-day-of-school craft:

1. Print out the layout of your choice.
2. Set out the paint you will be using. You can make it match the dinosaur, or choose a different colour that you think would be fun!
3. Use a paintbrush to apply a semi-thick layer of paint to your child’s right hand OR have the paint on a plate and let them rub their own right hand in the paint.
4. Place an upside-down handprint next to the dinosaur’s neck. The idea is for the thumb to act as the tail and the fingers to be the legs.
5. For the Stegasaurus, you can also have you child add more spikes via their fingerprint to the dino’s back using a different colour of paint!
6. Set aside to dry and enjoy, use for a first-day-of-school photo, or give away as a gift!
